Page header
A page header is the top section of a page.
When to use
- The top of any page with a title, which is most pages.
- A page with actions that apply to the whole page, not just one part of it.
- A page inside a hierarchy, with breadcrumbs above the title.
When not to use
- A section within a page. Use a heading.
- A modal or a drawer, which have their own titles.
- A page with no title. This usually means the page has no clear subject.

Name the page after its subject. Only include actions for the whole page, with one primary.

Do not make every button primary. When three buttons are primary, none of them stands out.
